New Years Eve Fireworks Displays
New Years eve Sydney. Where will you be?
As close to the harbour bridge as possible of course to watch the worlds largest annual spectacular fireworks display.
As it is every year, there will be a Family Firework display on at 9pm. This is generally the same as the midnight display except maybe more kiddies and less adults, but if you do have a party to go to make sure you pop down first to get a glimpse rather than missing out altogether.
If you don't have a party to go to and you've been squeezed out of the only nice quiet bar, head on down and get yourself a comfy spot, it's definitely worth it. Obviously as there is over 1 million people viewing the fireworks from various spots around the harbour you might want to decide on this before the strike of midnight. The Harbour of Light Parade starts just after the 9pm display and is made up of 50 invited vessels decorated in rope light. 11pm has the warming of the bridge, so what ever that means, head down on down early and see what it's about. And remember this year's theme is Diamonds
The city of Sydney wouldn't be the same without putting on a fun filled day of excitement leading up to the fireworks.
